The Institute\u2019s Membership is open to: 1. Persons employed in Banks and 2. Other financial institutions or engaged in a non-banking and\/or a non-finance related organizations 3. Self-employed or unemployed person provided they are holders of a University First Degree in any discipline, or an Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate or a Council recognized Professional Qualification of which final examinations must have been passed).<\/p>\n

Objective of the Exam<\/p>\n

One of the basic objectives of the Institute is promoting Banking Education in Nigeria through conducting banking examinations. The objective of promoting banking education is to amongst others:<\/p>\n

Keeping abreast of latest developments in the banking industry;<\/li>\n
Promote and ensure highest level of adherence to sound and generally accepted banking practices; and<\/li>\n
